(Q3): As per un-audited quarterly accounts for the 3rd quarter ended on 30th September 2010 (July'10 to Sep'10), the Bank has reported profit after tax of Tk. 710.89 million with EPS of Tk. 1.43 as against Tk. 397.29 million and Tk. 0.80 (restated) respectively for the same period of the previous year. Whereas profit after tax was Tk. 2,483.39 million with EPS of Tk. 5.00 for the period of nine months (Jan'10 to Sep'10) ended on 30.09.10 as against Tk. 1,414.63 million and Tk. 2.85 (restated) respectively for the same period of the previous year.

31Oct10 :: (Q3): As per un-audited quarterly accounts for the 3rd quarter ended on 30th September 2010 (July'10 to Sep'10), the Company has reported an increase in life insurance fund of Tk. 106.04 million as against Tk. 5.09 million for the same period of the previous year. Whereas increase in life insurance fund was Tk. 996.10 million for the period of 9 months (Jan' 10 to Sep' 10) ended on 30.09.10 as against Tk. 603.50 million for the same period of the previous year. Total life insurance fund stood at Tk. 6,501.83 million as on 30.09.10 as against Tk. 4,762.59 million as on 30.09.09.
